(Mostly) Local Father’s Day Gift Guide 2019
Is it just me, or does Father’s Day creep up on me every single year? I like to think that part of the reason is my dad’s birthday is literally a week or two (depending on where Father’s Day lands) before Father’s Day. But then again, that could just be an excuse… which I’m great at making. Seriously. It’s bad. Maybe I’ll get smart one day and combine his birthday and Father’s Day gifts into one big gift. But then again, I probably won’t think about this until after his birthday passes. Okay but enough about me!! Let’s talk Father’s Day gifts, cool?
Shop Local For Your Father’s Day Gift This Year
There is nothing better than supporting local Dallas Fort Worth area businesses! I’ve talked about it before, and I’ll say it again, if you can shop small and shop local, you’re supporting your community in more ways that one. There are so many incredible business owners and entrepreneurs in DFW, I challenge you to seek them out! Whether you shop from a Frisco fave, Tumbleweed TexStyles, or hit up a DFW brewery together, the local opportunities are endless.

Activities You Can Do with Dad
Cheers to Dad
Nothing says “Happy Father’s Day” like giving Dad a gift that keeps on giving! Pick up a bottle of his favorite liquor or a case of his favorite beer for an easy gift idea. Bonus idea: buy a growler or pint glasses for a fun addition to the booze.
The Last Minute Gift You Can Order Online
Last minute shopping for your Father’s Day gift doesn’t have to be stressful! Order something online and have it shipped directly to your dad’s house… That way if it’s late, you can blame the shipping and not you forgetting to order something 😉 Here I go again with those excuses!!
Zeel Massage On Demand Massages Nationwide (PS- use code StreetsBeatsEats for $20 off your first massage purchase)
Outdoor Voices Workout or Leisure Wear
Hammock from Amazon (which you can obviously use, too)
PS- Now that you have the Father’s Day gift taken care of, don’t forget to make brunch or dinner reservations!
