Best Places to Eat Near American Airlines Center

We used to live in Victory Park, right next door to American Airlines Center. Our pickings were slim. We couldn’t walk to many places because frankly their weren’t very many restaurants near American Airlines Center. When friends asked where to eat before Mavs games (or where to eat before Dallas Stars games, we don’t discriminate our sporting events here even thought I don’t know much about hockey), we would sorta shrug and suggested they eat in a different area of Dallas and take a quick Uber/Lyft to Victory Park for the event.

Between the new South Victory area, and the new builds in Hardwood District, there are plenty of restaurants to eat at before an AAC concert or Stars/Mavs game. I’m slowly but surely making my way through all of the restaurants near AAC. Sharing a few of my favorites so far, plus a few restaurants that I have heard great things about.

IMPORTANT: I have not tried all of these restaurants, so they are not necessarily a favorite of mine… But I wanted to make sure to include as many options for restaurants near AAC as possible.

Minutes Away From the AAC Doors

These restaurants could not be any closer to the doors of American Airlines Center. If you’re wanting to be able to get dropped off for dinner or drinks, and not worry about catching an Uber or having more than a 5 minute walk… these are for you.

Have A Nice Meal

These restaurants near American Airlines Center are a bit more upscale than your typical bar food. They are all within a very short Uber, or 10 minute walk to AAC. I would suggest getting reservations if you plan to eat at one of these places before a Stars or Mavs game, or concert.
