After living in Texas for nearly 8 years, I’ve discovered that tacos are a staple here. We’re not just talking about a lettuce, cheese and meat taco… Tacos in Texas are so diverse, they honestly deserve their own food group. I could list all of my favorite tacos in DFW, but if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen them and saved them to try later (and if that just blew your mind, the save feature is in the bottom righthand corner).
Top Tacos in DFW According to Dallas Foodies
So, in honor of National Taco Day, I asked some of my favorite foodie friends to share their number 1 spots to get tacos in DFW… Read and drool, my friends.
Resident Taqueria
Resident Taqueria in East Dallas kicks taco butt. It’s a little off the beaten path but it’s well worth it. Highly suggest you order the Wild mushroom. – AskFoodBitch
El Come Taco
Lily says… I love El Come Taco because it’s authentic and family owned. It’s the same since it opened 4/5 years ago. Their Pollo a la Mexicana is to die for as is their Al Pastor with pineapple on top! – Dallasites101
Rusty Taco
Give me Rusty Taco any day of the week and I’m a happy camper. I can’t even choose one taco because I order 3 or 4 at a time. But you can’t go wrong with breakfast tacos. -DFWEatsss
