We are so excited to start using our Bowflex Max 8 Trainer! It’s the first piece of equipment for our home gym (which I hope continues to grow!). The machine feels like it was made for me… It’s a low impact mix between an elliptical and stair climber, and after 5 knee surgeries low impact is the name of the game for me. So what do we know about the Bowflex M8 Trainer so far?
How Big Is the Bowflex Max 8 Trainer?
The Bowflex Max 8 Trainer is the perfect size for your home gym! We put it in our empty spare bedroom, but it could easily fit in a room that already had a bed in it. The exact dimensions are: 49″ L x 30.5″ W x 65.5″ H. The machine weighs just under 150 pounds. It came delivered in 2 boxes.
Bowflex Max 8 Trainer Features
So we have only used the machine a few times, so I can’t sing the praises yet… But what I can talk about is all of the cool featured the Bowflex M8 Trainer has! It has a magnetic media rack for tablet or smartphone and USB charging port. It’s also Bluetooth® heart rate compatible (which is one of the things that makes me super excited). There are 20 levels of resistance to make sure you get the best workout for your body. Speaking of, you can have 4 different user profiles on the machine (which is plenty of our family of 2).
How Much Does the Bowflex M8 Trainer Cost?
The Bowflex Max 8 Trainer costs $2,349.00 + S&H. For an extra $169 you can add in-home installation. There is also a Bowflex Protection Plan for extra security. You can order it online from Bowflex.com.
My Goals with the Bowflex M8 Trainer
I’m excited to start using the Bowflex M8 Trainer as a way to start my day. My goal is to use the machine 3 times a week for around 20 minutes. This will supplement the other workouts I do, like reformer pilates or cycling. Working for myself and out of my house there are lots of days I don’t leave the house- so this will be perfect to still get my heart rate up without having to drive across the metroplex to go to the gym! I’ve never had a home gym, so this will be a treat!
