So you’ve seen the pictures and heard the stories… now you’re asking yourself why go on a cruise vacation, what makes a cruise so great?
Don’t worry, that’s where I come in (hi, it me). I have been on half a dozen cruises in my adult life, and don’t have one bad experience to speak about. The majority of my trips have been through Carnival Cruise Line. This post has you covered for the best Carnival cruise ship and why.
There are hundreds of reasons I could list about why I love to cruise, but I’ll spare you the novel and share with you my top 10 reasons to cruise.

10 Reasons a Cruise Should Be Your Next Vacation
![10 Reasons to Take A Cruise](https://streetsbeatseats.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/IMG_4700-1024x1024.jpg)
1. Price Point Can’t Be Beat
Truly. You can go one vacation, to multiple locations, for a couple hundred dollars… No need to book hotel rooms, or budget for meals and activities, you know exactly what you’re going to spend from the moment you book. All your activities, meals and a place to stay for (typically) under or around $100. WOAH.
Heads up… Most cruise lines don’t include alcohol in your booking price, but adding on the alcohol package is SIMPLE. Or you can always look for the higher end cruises that will have perks like alcohol already included in your price.
2. Destination Hop without the Hassle
Why visit one beach when you can visit them all?! Go to sleep at night, wake up in a new location (and never mess with train or ferry schedules, or catching cabs). Repeat. What’s not too love? Can’t decide if you want to go to Half Moon Cay or Nassau? Why choose when you can do both…
3. No Uber, No Problem
Don’t worry about Ubering to the bars at night because everything you need is on one ship! No friends left behind… No awkward splitting the fare… You can go out (on the ship) and have a great time without having to feel responsible for getting anyone else home.
4. 24/7 Ice Cream Machine
And pizza. Need I say more?
5. Get to Know People From All Over
Even if you’re an introvert and totally squirming that I would dare to bring up making friends, you’ll make friends. It’s impossible to keep to yourself on a cruise. Unlike meeting someone at a bar, or running into someone at your hotel pool; you are with the same (thousands of) people every day. Chances are the same people that you meet day one at the pool bar are going to be there again on day two and three. Don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation with someone, they could turn into a lifelong pal, or at the very least a friendly face to see around the ship.
6. All the Karaoke Parties
Activities every. single. night! I tend to migrate towards the karaoke room, but there’s dueling pianos, dancing clubs, game shows, movies on the deck and so much more. Just another one of the many reason to cruise.
7. Pool Side Drinks All Day
Swim up bars might not be an option, but that doesn’t mean you have to get out of the pool to get a drink! There will be tons of team members doing rounds by the pool to make sure you always have a cocktail in your hand. The hospitality on a cruise ship can’t be beat. There are a few options for drinks on the cruise…. You can be sneaky and bring something on board with you, you can buy cruise drink packages or you can buy drink by drink.
8. Family Friendly, But Not In Your Face
Need to take some young ones with you on the trip, but don’t want to be surrounded by kids all day? Boom, a cruise is for you! There are kids clubs for all of the underage cruise goers to attend. My siblings have been part of them (they go up to 17 year olds) and have always had a blast. There are typically adults only sides of the ship, too. I can’t remember a ship that didn’t have a specific adults only pool (where I have been known to camp out at).
9. Every Ship Is Different
No two ships are the same, so no two vacations are the same! Amenities on the ship, special food stations, places you dock, pools and slides…
10. Activities or Relax, Choose Your Poison Every Day
Whether you’re at sea, or docked at a destination, there is always something fun to do. But, if swimming with dolphins or taking tequila shots with strangers is a little much, you can relax. The options are endless and you don’t have to make your plans based off what everyone else is doing.
