If you’re wondering where to eat in Dallas Fort Worth, you’ve come to the right spot. I know it gets overwhelming to choose! Here are a few of my favorite places that I have tried over the last month… including the best gelato in Dallas (and probably Texas if we’re being honest).
As always, if you have any suggestions for me on places to eat in Dallas, let me know! Always looking to add more to my list of “must try” places to eat in Dallas.

Rusty Taco
If you love queso, margaritas and/or tacos, Rusty Taco is a place you’ve got to visit sooner than later. I personally gravitate towards the Brisket and Fried Chicken tacos. You can also find vegetarian tacos and other food options on their menu. If you really want to impress someone at work, they also have breakfast tacos that you can grab on your way into the office. You can find Rusty Taco in Dallas (proper) on Greenville (4802 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206), Inwood (12050 Inwood Rd, Dallas, TX 75244) and Oak Lawn (3604 Oak Lawn Dallas, TX 75219). For the other locations in the DFW metroplex, check out the location finder.
French Room at The Adolphus
If you’re wondering where to eat in Dallas Forth Worth when it coms to Happy Hour, let me introduce you to the The French Room. This isn’t your typical “happy hour” spot in the sense that you’ll get wastey-face for a couple bucks, sorry to burst that bubble right off the bat. But, if you’re like me and enjoy dressing up on occasion and spending time with your friends over cocktails, make plans to visit The French Room at The Adolphus Hotel. The French Room is located in downtown Dallas at 1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202.
East Hampton Sandwich Co
I’ve been a huge fan of East Hampton Sandwich Co since the first day I ran by for a quick post-spin meal. This summer they’re bringing back my favorite salad, Buffalo Blue Chicken, and introducing some new drool-worthy bites! They have locations in Dallas at: The Crescent (200 Crescent Court, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75201), Turtle Creek Village (3888 Oak Lawn Avenue Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75219) and Snider Plaza (6912 Snider Plaza, Dallas, TX 75205).
Perry’s Steakhouse
A little cocktail (class) never hurt nobody. Except me, and my pride, when I made them wrong. All (lack of) bartending skills and pride aside, these new summer cocktails from Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille are the perfect blend of new and old flavors. They have a location in Dallas at 2100 Olive St Suite #100 Dallas, TX 75201. They also have locations in Frisco and Grapevine.
Eatzi’s Market & Bakery
If you love a good sandwich, Eatzi’s needs to be on your radar. You can build your own masterpiece, or let the sandwich gurus take the lead with something packed with flavor. Of course you can find other great food at Eatzi’s like sushi, pasta, pastries, bowls and more. There are 3 locations in Dallas (proper): Oak Lawn at 3403 Oak Lawn Ave Dallas, TX 75219, Lovers Lane (5600 Lovers Ln Dallas, TX 75209) and Preston Royal (6025 Royal Ln Dallas, TX 75230). They also have locations in Plano, Grapevine and Fort Worth.
Vitality Bowls Superfood Café Preston Hollow
Healthy doesn’t have to be boring! Just look at this açaí bowl (a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients). Not only does Vitality Bowls have a wide selection of açaí bowls, but they also have smoothies, juices, soups, salads and paninis.
Republic
If you’re spoiling your favorite guy, or giving a guy’s night recommendation, this bourbon haven is a must try! The Republic menu has a wide variety for every pallet, but the bar is all about the bourbon and whiskey.
Nobu Dallas
The Nobu Dallas Happy Hour options are to die for. Highly recommend the Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll!
