40+ Online Boutiques That Carry At Least XL or Above
I wear a size 14/16 and have experienced so many headaches trying to shop from boutiques (both in store and online!). As someone on the high end of straight size/starting end of plus size, I know that I carry privilege to have more options than my plus size friends who wear larger sizes. With that said, I wanted to try and create a resource that was as inclusive as possible for the whole plus size range. I’ve sorted out the online plus size boutiques into a few categories to help the hunting process: boutiques that carry up to XL/1x, boutiques that carry plus size only and boutiques that carry straight sizing up to 3x or higher.
PS- be sure to follow me on INSTAGRAM and TIKTOK for more curvy fashion inspiration and real life. There is also the SBE newsletter you can join for some fun perks and conversations!
If you shop at any of these spots, let me know what you got/how the experience goes. Also, note that this is a list that will ebb and flow. Unfortunately smaller boutiques close their doors, but on the positive side, there are also new ones opening. I will do my best to keep this up to date, but feel free to let me know if there’s a place to add!
Why I Love Shopping At Online Boutiques
I personally have much better luck finding options in my size when I shop online, at least when it comes to boutiques. Dallas has some great shopping, but not when it comes to size 14/16 fashion.
How To Navigate Sizing While Shopping At Boutiques As A Curvy Girl
One important thing to remember is that boutique sizing is more often than not it runs small. This is because most wholesalers are sizing items based off juniors fit. I also suggest looking at the boutiques social media pages to get help on sizing info. If you see an item on their Instagram feed worn by someone who has a similar body to you, check out that person’s social media if it’s tagged. You can also comment asking abut the sizing of the person in the photo. I also suggest checking tagged of photos of that business and looking for people wearing the clothes.
One other thing to keep in mind, while I know this can be triggering for some, I do think it’s important to know your rough measurements. Your measurements do not define you as a person, so please don’t get discouraged taking them. Knowing your measurements for waist, hips and bust will help you navigate size charts for not only online boutiques, but shopping big retailers as well.
Straight Sizing vs Plus Size – What Does It All Mean?
I didn’t want to call this blog post “plus size online boutiques” because an XL is more straight size (in my opinion), but yet still a size that not a lot of boutiques carry. Lots of wholesale packs are S/M/L, and sometimes they will have an XS and/or XL.
As someone who is a bit in between plus size and straight size (size 14/16), this is what felt like the best way to share the information. I wish every store I share here carried a full plus size line, but that’s not the case. I sorted the online boutiques in the best way possible to help you find what you’re looking for.

Plus Size Boutiques I’ve Shopped At
Starting off with a few of the online plus size boutiques that I’ve shopped at! I’m hopeful this section of the post continues to grow with personal recommendations for you to shop at.
Worthy Figures
I was introduced to Worthy Figures earlier this year by Logan Russel and I am so glad about that! The owner, Amy, is an absolutely amazing human. I think part of the charm of supporting small businesses is knowing you are directly impacting someone’s life with your support. Worthy Figures is a smaller, more curated selection than a few of the others I’ve shopped at, but you can tell just how carefully the pieces are selected. On Worthy Figures you’ll find dresses, jumpsuits, tops and more in sizes 1x, 2x and 3x.
Be sure to follow Worthy Figures on Instagram and Facebook.
Shop Curves to Contour
Shop Curves to Contour is an online plus size boutique created by plus size fashion blogger, Nicole. They carry sizes 1x (14/16), 2x (18/20) and 3x (22/24). You’ll find a large selection of options ranging from shackets (I have a few!!), dresses, sweaters, graphic tees and more.
You can use code discount code Casey20 for 20% off!

Amaryllis
Amaryllis is an online boutique that carries straight and plus sizes. The exact sizes available ranges based on the specific items. I’ve found items up to 3x online. While not every item is available, I have seen progress on the quantity of items carried in a “full” size range. I have found some fabulous jackets from Amaryllis year after year- lots of trendy items!

A Peak Behind the Curtain with Wholesale Shopping
The below paragraph is a note from Amy at Worthy Figures, and I felt like it was important to share here before we dive in to the rest of the list. The transparency as to why it’s hard for plus size boutiques (and all boutiques for that matter) to carry certain sizes.
I buy wholesale, and currently, wholesale manufacturers barely even make plus sizes. Traditionally, wholesale manufacturers only make their items in sizes S-L. So, I have to search a lot harder just to find plus sizes. Also, the plus sizes I do find only go up to a 3X. That’s not on me, that’s on the manufacturers. If there were sizes beyond a 3X, I would absolutely carry them! I’ve been lucky to get in a few 4X styles and will continuing doing my best to get in more sizes. So please, if you would like to advocate for more sizes, please reach out to the manufacturers. I have created a template letter that you can send to manufacturers asking them to make plus size and go beyond a size 3X. Click the button below to download the letter if you’d like to help make fashion more accessible for all sizes.
40+ Boutiques That Carry XL and Above
If you know of any other great plus size boutiques, please don’t be shy and share them! The more information we can gather for our fellow shoppers, the better. Befcause I’m sure someone will bring this up, there are of course options such as Eloquii, Old Navy, ASOS, etc, that carry plus size clothing, but I’m focusing on more curated boutiques vs larger brands.
