Shopping for Plus Size Swimsuits
As we dive into where to buy plus size swimsuits, keep in mind what to look for in the right plus size swimsuits for you. A good plus size swimsuit will provide the necessary support and coverage to make you feel comfortable and confident.
When it comes to fit, did you know it’s actually better for something to a be a bit tighter vs looser when trying on a swimsuit? If your swimsuit is already too big when dry, it will be sagging and falling off you once it gets wet. Of course you don’t want it so tight that it digs into your body or makes you feel comfortable. Plus, when a swimsuit fits well, it will provide all of your curves with a bit of extra support. Some of the things you can look for include adjustable straps, adjustable bands, underwire, boning and tummy control panels.
Desired coverage will vary for every person, but don’t be afraid to try something that seems outside of your comfort zone! You never know what swimsuit style or coverage will end up being perfect for you until you try it.
