The Best Plus Size Walmart Swimsuits and Summer Clothing

I’ve been finding some gems when looking for Walmart plus size clothing for summer, so of course I had to share! Personally, I’ve been shopping for Walmart plus size swimsuits for large busts, two piece sets, dresses and other summer clothing that catches me eye.

For sizing reference, I usually wear a size 14 or 16, which puts me at the end of straight size clothing and the start of plus size options. Depending on how items run, my exact size does fluctuate. I wear a 36J UK bra, I’m 5’8″, and I have roughly a 35″ waist and 49″ hips. Hopefully this info can help you figure out how something might fit you and what size to order for yourself!

Walmart Plus Size Swimsuits

I have found a few great bikini and one piece swimsuits from Walmart so far this summer! Almost every find is both a straight size and plus size Walmart swimsuit options. I am keeping my eye out for more swimsuits as the season goes on.

Time and Tru Women’s and Women’s Plus V Front Swim Top and High Waisted Bikini Bottoms

This high waisted swimsuit is adorable! The bottoms do run big, so I would size down at least one size. The top fits my large bust great! This swimsuit also has very full booty coverage. I am wearing a 1x in the $14 bikini top and the $17 bikini bottom. It comes in 4 colors and sizes S-3X.

Time and Tru Women’s and Women’s Plus Vertical Tie Dye Swim Bikini Top and High Waisted Swim Bottom

How fun would this swimsuit be to wear the lake for the 4th of July?! I would say both top and bottom fit true to size. There is pretty good booty coverage with these high waisted bottoms, too. This swimsuit comes in sizes S-3X. I am wearing a 1X in each piece, and there is a tankini option as well. Each swimsuit piece is $16.

Time and Tru Women’s and Plus Ruffle Strap One Piece Swimsuit

There is something so sexy about this one piece swimsuit! It’s for a shelf bra in it for breast support and fairly good booty coverage in the back. Personally, I’m not sure how I feel about the flappy sleeves, but other than that, I’m a big fan. It runs true to size. This $22 one piece bathing suit is available in 3 colors and sizes S-3X. I am wearing a 1X.

Time and Tru Women’s Brushed Cheetah Ring Cut Out One Piece Swimsuit

This unique swimsuit is so close to working for me! I need a size smaller in the bottom half of the swimsuit, but I think if I lose any top coverage, my boobs would fly out. It makes me sad, this is such a fun style and print! I would say if you aren’t quite as busty, definitely size down in this one. This cut out one piece is $22 and available in sizes S-3X. I am wearing XL.

Time and Tru Women’s and Women’s Plus Warm Chocolate Side Button One Piece Swimsuit

I’m a total sucker for anything brown this season, and this plus size Walmart bathing suit is no exception! It has adorable button detailing on the side that I personally haven’t seen in other swimsuits this season. The one piece is pretty supportive on the stomach and has somewhat of a built in bra on the top. The bra area is my only concern with this one… It doesn’t feel super well made with the placement of the built in support and the top of the suit doesn’t lay completely flat because of that. Part of this could be just that it runs big, but I have not tried on the size down. With all of that said, it’s a $20 swimsuit. It is $22 and available in sizes S-3X. I am wearing XL in this bathing suit.

Time and Tru Women’s and Women’s Plus Color Block One Piece Swimsuit

I love the cut out detail on the front on this color block one piece! This Walmart swimsuit has pretty full coverage in the booty, adjustable straps and enough coverage for my large bust. I wouldn’t swim laps in this swimsuit by any means, but it certainly gives me enough support to enjoy a fun pool day with friends and family. It is $24 and available in sizes S-3X. I’m wearing an XL in this Walmart one piece bathing suit.

XOXO Women’s Plus Size Floral High-Waist Bikini Swimsuit Bottoms with Sash

While super cute, this bikini runs very small! I would size up at least one in this swimsuit and would stay away from it all together if you have a similar chest size to me. The bikini top is $10 and the bikini bottom is also $10. Each piece comes in S-3X and I am wearing 1X. .

Plus Size Walmart Dresses

Apparently I’ve been sleeping on Walmart dresses before, because I have some super cute ones this season! The downside, these options are fairly limited in size range and end at XXXL. I will be actively looking for more inclusive size options to try out and add to this post!

Scoop Women’s Collared Shirt Dress with Long Sleeves

This light weight dress is the perfect material for summer! I love how airy it is, especially as a gal who sweats a lot. You can wear it as low cut or high cut on your chest as you want, and the sleeves can easily be worn rolled up or all the way down. I would say this dress fits true to size, but if you want more length to go up in size. PS- the dress has pockets! In case this color is a bit bright for you, it does come in two other colors. It’s $34 and available in sizes XS-XXXL. I am wearing size XL.

Scoop Women’s High Low Eyelet Midi Dress with Puff Sleeves

This dress was a bit too long for me personally. I have pretty short legs and where this hits me, it makes me feel even shorter than I am. I love the fabric and the overall design of the dress. It’s got great detailing on the torso! I would say it runs just a tiny bit big, so if your chest is smaller than mine it could be worth sizing down. The elastic on the puff sleeve isn’t constricting at all, which is a big plus, and the dress has pockets! I think the white color of this dress is perfect for a bridal shower or wedding luncheon! This high/low Walmart plus size dress is available in three colors. The dress is $40 and comes in sizes XS-XXXL. I’m wearing an XL.

Scoop Women’s Crochet Midi Skirt

How fun is this two piece set from Walmart?! It might be my favorite of the Walmart plus size clothing finds. You can also style this skirt with other tops to get great cost per wear out of the item. Last I checked, red was sold out, but I wanted to include this photo to show the different sizes I ordered. This skirt is size XL and too big. The green skirt below is a large and fits much better! I would size down in the skirt. It costs $36 and comes in sizes XS-XXXL.

Scoop Women’s Crochet Sleeveless Crop Top

Now let’s chat about the crochet top! This would look fantastic with jean shorts or jeans and a wedge, in addition to wearing it as a set. In the red photo, I am wearing size XXL and the green I am wearing XL. The XXL fits me much better when it comes to length! Note, I am wearing a traditional underwire bra with each outfit but might switch to a bralette for a slightly flatter chest. It costs $26 and is also available in sizes XS-XXXL.
