Deck the Hall Street

One of my favorite Christmas murals (and transformations) in Dallas! Fiction Coffee Shop on the corner of Ross and Hall transforms into a winter wonderland kicking off November 24th. Enjoy cozy Christmas cocktails or a bright, cheerful mural outside, both make for great Instagramable Christmas photos spots in DFW.

Snowday Dallas

Snowday Dallas is a fabulous spot to get your fix of Christmas photo ops in DFW! The experience lasts about an hour and has many rooms/set ups for you to capture fun holiday photos. Snowday is open from November 19-January 17.

The Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas

It’s no secret that The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas is one of the most gorgeous spots in the area… but did you know they also have the best decorations for Christmas? The tree makes for a great photo backdrop- but don’t forget to head up to the pool deck where you’ll find snow globes and a gorgeous view of Dallas. Christmas photo opps galore!

Sundance Square in Fort Worth

If you live in Fort Worth there are lots of fun places to get in the spirit (even on TCU’s campus!), but my favorite is Sundance Square. There is a huge, gorgeous Christmas tree in the middle and lights everywhere you look. PS- Santa Claus can usually be found right in front of the tree. What says Instagramable Christmas photo spots in DFW like a photo with Santa in front of a 50 foot tree?

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal Sign in Bishop Arts District

A cult classic, if you will, of holiday photo ops in DFW. You must stop by and get your photo in front of the Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal sign in Bishop Arts.

Museum of Memories in Dallas

If it gets too cold to go outside, I suggest stopping by Museum of Memories in Dallas for your photo needs! Instagramable pop ups very trendy, now add in some festiveness and you’ve hit the freakin’ Instagram jackpot!

Christmas Pop Up Bars

First things first, these bars are going to be busy during the holidays. Everyone loves a good Christmas pop up, and these spots are no exception. I suggest going early in the day and/or early in the season if you’re wanting to somewhat avoid large crowds.

Dallas Galleria

It might be a bit cliche, but the Dallas Galleria has the most gorgeous Christmas tree in the middle of a skating rink. I think it makes for a great day of shopping, dining– and photo taking! Whether you take the photo on the ice skating rink, or you’re like me and like the ice for a backdrop and not something to stand on, both photos will turn out great!

Campo Verde in Arlington

Okay, full disclosure, I have not been here yet… But every photo I have ever seen of Campo Verde in Arlington has me feeling festive! This might be the most festive photo spot in DFW to get the perfect Christmas photo for the gram. They stay decorated from October-April!

North Pole Express in Grapevine

All aboard! Next stop, the Christmas Capital of Texas: Grapevine! There are plenty of great photo ops in Grapevine, but one of the most unique ones is the North Pole Express.

Ruibals Farmers Market

I’ve talked about Ruibals every season, but it’s for a good reason! As fall leaves and Christmas approaches, Ruibals turns into one of my all time favorite Christmas photo ops in DFW. The vibrant colors of the trees mixed with the downtown Dallas buildings… it’s hard to beat!

The Star in Frisco

You’ve probably been to The Star in Frisco by now, or at least heard of it, right? Well they take Christmas very seriously up in Frisco! The Star transforms into a spectacular holiday hot spot on November 22nd. The photos you can take with the Cowboys Star and a big star on top of a Christmas tree, priceless!

Shops at Willow Bend

Get in the spirit in Plano with the animated tree, front and center at The District at Willow Bend.  It’s a one-of-a-kind synchronized Christmas tree with video and music from 6am – 12am every day during the holidays! Not to mention you can hang out with Santa (even with your pets if you go Dec 2-6!) before grabbing a bit to eat at one of the tasty restaurants at The District.
