Paradisus Los Cabos Wedding – An All Inclusive Cabo Wedding Venue
If you’re looking for a beautiful luxury hotel stay without an outrageous price tag, Paradisus Los Cabos is for you! We decided to have a Paradisus Los Cabos wedding after visiting a few different places in Cabo, and doing lots of destination wedding research. We knew an all inclusive Cabo wedding venue was a must on our list, as well as a spot with good food, great ambience and service. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about their stays at the all inclusive Paradisus Los Cabos. Some of our guests have already looked at booking return trips to stay there!
Staying at Paradisus Los Cabos
We can’t talk about how fabulous the all inclusive Paradisus Los Cabos resort was for a wedding without diving into what it’s like to stay there!
The first time I visited Paradisus by Melia it was pre-Covid. It was a short stay during November (not peak season), but the great stay is ultimately what helped us chose to have our wedding there. The next time I visited the resort it was for our wedding in 2021 and some things had changed.
Upon arrival, we were escorted to an area with a private bar for a drink while we completed the check in process. One small detail that I loved was that our bracelets for the resort weren’t the typical chunky plastic bracelets, but rather something that was comfortable to wear and didn’t stick out like a sore thumb in photos. And speaking of, we were able to cut them off the day of the wedding and get new ones afterwards.
One thing I loved but didn’t utilize enough was the swimmable beach with beach service. Another fun thing happening on the beach is the sea turtle conservation. During our first stay we were able to hold baby sea turtles before they went out into the ocean which was super cool.
A few general amenities on site include a gym, spa, free wifi and parking.
The Reserve at Paradisus Los Cabos
If you have it in your budget, staying at The Reserve is a great way to elevate your experience. You will have access to a personal butler who will be able to help you make dinner reservations, get specific refills for your mini fridge, help with wedding related requests and anything else that may come up during your stay.
When booking The Reserve at Paradisus Los Cabos, you are also gaining access to a private dining experience for breakfast and lunch (the space is open to the whole resort for dinner). There is also an adults only pool, sun chair area and dedicated service in the area. Inside of the rooming area there is also a private lounge and bar where you can order higher shelf drinks and grab snacks.
The rooms in this area range in “view” types and there are even some swim up room options! The rooms themselves are modern, but basic. They have plenty of space to be in the room when needed. You do have a mini fridge in your room and it’s stocked with beer, soda and water, and you can request specific refills as well. There are also snacks like chips and M&Ms in the room, and you can order room service free of charge… which is perfect for late night snackers!
Dining at the Paradisus by Melia Los Cabos Restaurants
You will need to make reservations for the dinners at Paradisus Cabo. They have a variety of options including a Japanese steakhouse, international cuisine, contemporary Mexican and rustic Italian. All three options are delicious and have a different variety of foods. There is one option, Le Petit Chef, that isn’t part of your all inclusive price of staying at the resort.
For lunch and snacks, you can enjoy seafood options, burgers, guac and chips, chicken strips, nachos and more. You can eat poolside or at one of the lunch restaurants… or you could do a combo of both!
Breakfast can be enjoyed in The Reserve area, or the buffet near the lobby. If you book at The Reserve, don’t skip breakfast. Be sure to try the French Toast!
Paradisus Los Cabos Location
This all inclusive Cabo resort is located in Cabo next to the Sea of Cortez. The physical address is: Carretera Transpeninsular Km 19.5 San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur 23410 San José del Cabo.
Paradisus by Melia is about 25 minutes from the airport. You can easily set up transportation through a third party to get to and from the airport. If you book a room in The Reserve, your airport shuttle is included.
Also, this resort is a bit of a drive from the downtown area of Cabo. If you are wanting to visit places like Mango Deck, The Office and Flora Farms, or catch a boat for an excursion, be prepared for around a 20-30 minute cab ride each way.
Booking Your Stay
You can book a few ways! Alexa Spahr is a great travel agent who can help your guests book their all inclusive stays. You can also check prices on places like Hotels.com and Booking.com to find the best rate. And of course, booking directly on Paradisus by Melia’s website with points or cash.

What Do All Inclusive Cabo Wedding Venue Packages Include?
Wedding packages will vary based on what you’re looking for. If none of the packages work for you, you can choose to do a la carte wedding. Some resorts let you tailor the package by swapping elements that you don’t need for what you do need, but Paradisus by Melia did not allow that.
One of the main perks of an all inclusive Cabo wedding venue is the element of the cost of food and drinks. While you will still need to pay for servers and bartenders, it is a much more affordable price vs having to pay for meals and an open bar.
Some packages will include hair and makeup, officiants, music, chairs, and photography.
Paradisus Los Cabos Wedding Contact
You can submit your information on the Paradisus by Melia website for wedding inquiries. You can also try emailing Ariadna Ruiz, the Romance Manager, at Ariadna.Ruiz@melia.com. And of course, if you hire a planner, they can reach out on your behalf.
Cabo Destination Wedding Vendors
If you’re looking at outside vendors to include in your destination wedding in Cabo, the first thing you need to do is hire a wedding planner. Once you have a planner, then you should start booking your venue, florals, DJ, etc.

Having A Destination Wedding in Cabo
There is something so magical about having a destination wedding in Cabo, especially when you’re in a position where you don’t want to have a huge wedding or go overboard with what you spend on one day of your life.
We had 23 people at our wedding including myself and my husband. We invited our parents, siblings and their significant others + kids, and a few of our closest friends as a couple. It was the perfect size to get to spend quality time with everyone throughout the week and it still felt like there was somewhat of an “audience” at the wedding. We did do bridal parties, but looking back that is one element we would have changed.
Can You Get Legally Married in Cabo?
You can get legally married in Cabo, but you do have to put in a little more effort. Or, you can do a legal ceremony in the states and then have a symbolic ceremony in Cabo.
Keep in mind, if you change your name before your wedding, you will need to update your passport, change your name on plane ticket, etc.
What Is The Best Time To Get Married in Cabo?
Honestly, I think it depends on what you’re looking for and what you care about the most! Do you want the best time based on weather? Excursions? Prices for guests?
One of the main things to keep in mind is that August – October is hurricane season. Then think about pricing for guests, and know that holidays (mid-late November and mid-late December) and Spring Break are both more expensive times of the year. February is also a very expensive time of the year to travel to Cabo.
Taking this all into consideration, along with the facts that you may need to pay attention to the school schedule, we knew summer was our best bet. At the end of May you run into prices being higher because of Memorial Day Weekend. June is a bit cooler than July, which is why a good choice is the month of June.
If price isn’t on your mind, late November-early January is a wonderful time to visit!
Is It Worth Getting Married at an All Inclusive
Getting married at an all inclusive Cabo wedding venue makes budgeting for the trip really easy for your guests, as there are no unknown costs they need to prepare for. They know exactly what the trip will cost for the stay, meals, drinks and getting to Cabo. This may help to choose a resort that is within a price range that works for our guests.
I also loved the all inclusive element because it kept everyone on site for most of the stay. Selfishly this made it easy to spend time with everyone without worrying about too much planning, researching where to meet for meals, etc.
It was also helpful day of the wedding. Staying at an all inclusive Cabo wedding venue allowed for everyone to migrate to a bar after the reception and stay until they were ready to call it a night. We also had easy access to our hotel room to change clothes for the reception. From a wedding party getting ready standpoint, it was also convenient to get drinks for the groups getting ready, order room service, etc, during the day. I also may or may not have enjoyed some chicken strips after the first look before the wedding…
