It’s no secret that Trader Joe’s is one of the best places to shop for your groceries. There are many Trader Joe’s favorites in our household, but these 9 Trader Joe’s items are always in our cart.

9 of my Trader Joe’s Favorites
BBQ Teriyaki Chicken: We live for the BBQ Teriyaki Chicken from Trader Joe’s! It pairs beautifully with the Vegetable Fried Rice to make a hearty and delicious dinner. It also goes well with a vegetable stir fry for a lighter meal. Plus, it’s easy to make this Trader Joe’s favorite… simply microwave to perfection!
Vegetable Fried Rice: In our house we use half a bag of Vegetable Fried Rice, 2 eggs, water chestnuts if we’re feeling frisky. We add it with a bag of BBQ Teriyaki Chicken (another of my Trader Joe’s favorites!). The fried rice also comes as a chicken option, but since we pair with chicken we gravitate to the vegetable bag. This can be microwaved or cooked on the stove – we do the stove option with our add ins!
Brown Rice Bags: This rice is one of my absolute favorite quick rice options I’ve ever tried. You simply put in the microwave for 3 minutes and you’ve got yourself a perfect brown rice! I use the brown rice for an easy lunch with some chicken and black beans, stir dry dinners and honestly whenever I have an excuse to pair something with it.
Chopped Peppers: The frozen bag of chopped peppers comes in handy all the time! It’s so much better than letting half used peppers go to waste every time I want to add a little variety to a meal. We use the peppers in scrambled eggs most weekends (breakfast tacos!), soups and when making fajitas.
Turkey Burgers: These have been a Trader Joe’s staple for me for 7, maybe 8, years. I pop the frozen turkey burger onto our indoor grill and add some pickles + a sauce. *Chefs Kiss* I also have started putting one inside a grilled cheese, another fab and easy lunch.
Light String Cheese: I wasn’t a big string cheese eater growing up, but one time on a whim I grabbed this at Trader Joe’s and it’s become a go to snack to have on hand. It’s also a great addition for my husband to take to work as a snack or side for his lunch.
Dark Chocolate Pretzel Thins: There are so many sweet treats we love to rotate through, and many could be considered Trader Joe’s favorites, but the Dark Chocolate Pretzel Thins are the treat I most often throw in my cart. Pro tip- throw the bag into the fridge for a bit more of a crunch. Also… now I’m hungry…
Medium Salsa: Fresh salsa with just the right kick! I’ll even chose this salsa over a lot of restaurant salsa.
Sweet Potato Chips: These Trader Joe’s chips are SO GOOD, y’all. I grabbed them on a whim once to try something new and they are never not on top of my fridge now. I dip them in one of my other Trader Joe’s favorites, the medium salsa! It’s the perfect combo of spice and salt. They taste wonderful on their own, too.
