15 Dallas Date Night Restaurants to Visit ASAP

Dallas Fort Worth· Date Ideas· Food + Drinks

One of the most asked questions I get is what are my favorite Dallas date night restaurants. Well, there are quite a few places that would make a good date night restaurant if we’re being honest. It all depends on what you’re in the mood for- and what your budget is. I’ve selected a few of my favorite places that cover a wide range of flavor pallets, menu prices and locations around the Dallas metroplex.

It’s taken us months to find our Richardson area Mexican date night spot… Dos Arroyos (formerly Frankie’s) has it all. From tasty white queso to brisket tacos, street corn to fajitas, we haven’t ordered anything that wasn’t spectacular. We find ourselves at this Richardson local spot for many date nights!

The French Room in Downtown Dallas

My favorite cocktail bar in Dallas is inside The Adolphus Hotel. I’m a big ole lover of the soufflé. I’m also a lover of the bartenders making me cocktails that fit my flavor profile. This is definitely not a place you roll up in your cut off jean shorts and flip flops, but let’s be honest, dressing up for no occasion except to drink isn’t all that bad.

Ida Claire in Addison

I have only been to Ida Claire once, but the memory has stuck with me for years. Literally years, it was our first Valentine’s Day together and Austin surprised me with where dinner was going to be.

Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar in Dallas and Plano

Pie Tap - best pizza in DFW - located at Park and Preston

You can’t go wrong with ordering a pizza from Pie Tap. It makes for a great date night in. If you’d rather go out for date night, you’ll be greeted with a cozy atmosphere at every location in DFW.

The new Hudson House in Addison provides the cutest vibes, just like the Dallas location. It’s sure to make a good first impression on a first (or fifth, ya know) date. If you’re into sharing appetizers, you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. One of our favorites is the burger!

Ferris Wheelers Backyard & BBQ in Dallas

[…] When your family and friends come to Dallas to visit you, I dare you to take them to one of the most unique restaurants in Dallas, instead of the trendy Dallas spots. I took my own advice and started taking people to places that weren’t the most traditional, but rather places that would be unlike anything they could find in their own hometown. If your pals are anything like mine, they’re going to sing your praises. PS- these would also make for some great unique date night restaurants! […]

[…] Food is a big part of living in Dallas Fort Worth! It would be hard to have a Dallas blog and not talk about food. There are so many amazing restaurants and social gatherings that are centered around food. I also believe that this is another “universal language” that people can feel connected through.
