One of the most asked questions I get is what are my favorite Dallas date night restaurants. Well, there are quite a few places that would make a good date night restaurant if we’re being honest. It all depends on what you’re in the mood for- and what your budget is. I’ve selected a few of my favorite places that cover a wide range of flavor pallets, menu prices and locations around the Dallas metroplex.

15 of my Favorite Dallas Date Night Restaurants
Some of the tasty Dallas date night restaurants ranging in price, cuisine, location and more!
Taverna
If you’re looking for a patio, great food, friendly service and not spending a fortune… Knox Henderson or Legacy West Taverna is the place for your next date night! It is our all time favorite place to visit for a night out.
Legacy Hall
Options, options, options! Legacy Food Hall is a food court like nothing else you’ve ever seen. You can get a little of everything for every preference. Walking through the Hall makes for a great start to any date.
Dos Arroyos Comida Casera
It’s taken us months to find our Richardson area Mexican date night spot… Frankie’s has it all. From queso to brisket, and brisket queso, we haven’t ordered anything that wasn’t to die for.
The French Room
My favorite cocktail bar in Dallas is inside The Adolphus Hotel. I’m a big ole lover of the soufflé. I’m also a lover of the bartenders making me cocktails that fit my flavor profile. This is definitely not a place you roll up in your cut off jean shorts and flip flops, but let’s be honest, dressing up for no occasion except to drink isn’t all that bad.
City Hall Bistro
You can’t go wrong with any meal here, but if you want a brunch date, this is the number one option.
Ida Claire
I have only been here once, but the memory has stuck with me for years. Literally years, it was our first Valentine’s Day together and Austin surprised me with where dinner was going to be.
Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar
You can’t go wrong with ordering a pizza from Pie Tap. It makes for a great date night in. I guess if you aren’t much for ordering in, going into the Design District location is also a treat.
Hudson House
The new location in Addison provides the cutest vibes. It’s sure to make a good first impression on a first (or fifth, ya know) date. If you’re into sharing appetizers, you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. I’ve been told by a little birdie the burger is insane.
Ferris Wheelers Backyard & BBQ
Is there anything better than a cold beer and a plate full of BBQ? Oh wait, there is… Beer, BBQ and a Ferris Wheel. Date night goals if you ask me. Which, you kinda did, since you’re reading this…
Perry’s Steakhouse
If you are looking for a good steakhouse, Perry’s is my number one choice in the metroplex. The crab cakes, wine options and steak are sure to impress that special someone.
DogHaus
Nothing says fun and flirty like happy hour with sausages!
